    Hays County COVID-19 statistics are updated weekly on the Hays County Local Health Department data hub. Data should be interpreted with caution. Because of limited testing and data reporting, the purpose of Covid data surveillance is to monitor trends rather than to catch all cases.

    COVID-19 Vaccine Information

    Use vaccines.gov to find a vaccination clinic near you. Information is not always up to date so always call ahead to confirm.

    If you are uninsured, free vaccines are available through:

    • Our Immunizations Clinic. Schedule a vaccine by calling 512-393-5520.
    • The Bridge Access Program. Both Walgreens and CVS participate in this program. Schedule a vaccine online or by phone.

    COVID-19 Testing Information

    Testing options in Hays County:

    • Low and no-cost testing is available for those without health insurance at select pharmacies. Click here to find a location near you. Call ahead to confirm.
    • Order free tests to be delivered to your home: https://www.covid.gov/tests
    • Hays County residents can pick up free at-home tests from the Hays County Local  Department while supplies last. Call ahead 512-393-5520 for availability.
    • Most local medical facilities and pharmacies offer COVID-19 testing. Insurance or out-of-pocket costs may apply.
