Veteran Assistance

The Hays County Veteran Service Office was established to provide U.S. military veterans and their dependents with access to benefits through local, state, federal and nonprofit programs. Our office is accredited through the Texas Veterans Commission which allows us to provide assistance with veteran’s benefits. We are not an entity of the Department of Veteran Affairs; however, we work in collaboration with the Veteran’s Benefits Administration. Our office can help you determine which programs you may qualify for and assist with the application process for them.

Our office is pleased to serve those who have served our country and their dependents. For concerns and questions, please contact us 512.392.8387.

Navigating the VA system can be overwhelming and our office is here to help. We partner with many auxiliary organizations to provide assistance with programs in and out of the VA.

We offer a variety of services to Hays County veterans.
